We strongly recommend using the NHS App to request repeat medication. Register once with help from reception, then tick the medicines you need and send your request. Prescriptions are usually ready after two working days.

Medication reviews

If you take repeat medication, we will ask you to see a doctor or nurse at least once a year to review your medicines. A reminder should appear on your repeat slip — please book in good time to avoid delays.

Tips to help us help you

• Order before bank holidays and busy periods — do not leave it until the last minute

• Only request medicines on your repeat list — one-off prescriptions need a GP or pharmacist

• Nominate a pharmacy so we can send your prescription electronically (you can still collect from us if you prefer)
